Creating a Collection Management Plan virtual workshop

Rokeby Museum will be hosting a series of FREE collections management workshops this summer, as a component of a grant they received from the Champlain Valley National Heritage Partnership (CVNHP).  The first, "Creating a Collection Management Plan," will be on Zoom this coming Tuesday, June 29th, from 10-12.  We will walk through drafting collections management policies and procedures and developing a plan of action to address collections issues.  There will be ample time for discussion and questions, and IF there is interest, we can try to get a cohort to support each other as they develop or revise documents and plans for their collections over the next weeks (or months!). Rachel Onuf of the VHRP (and CCCA Board of Directors) will be presenting.

The other two workshops in the series will be as follows and will be held AT Rokeby twice each (to keep groups small):

July 20th – Active Collections at 10am or 2pm with Eileen Corcoran of VHS (and CCCA Board of Directors)

August 24th – Collections Handling at 10am or 2pm with Rachel Onuf of VHRP (and CCCA Board of Directors)

You can register for one or all of these workshops here:
